Here at Ozark Mountain Classics we offer the following services:
Media Blasting:
Rotisserie Restoration:
A Rotisserie restoration is used commonly when restoring vehicles that are designed with a uni-body as opposed to a full frame. Many vehicles of the muscle car era were built with a uni-body structure. When performing a rotisserie restoration of the vehicle, we remove the front sub-frame and rear differential. All glass and body panels are also removed. We then mount the uni-body onto a "rotisserie" device. This device is basically a jig that holds the vehicle stable while the work is being completed. Once work is completed, the fully restored body is removed from the rotisserie and the vehicle is re-assembled. Thus the finished product is a "Rotisserie Restored" vehicle.
Photo Archive Disassembly:
We take extra precaution when disassembling each vehicle we work on. We take photos of how the vehicle looks before and after. We label all the nuts, bolts and retainers and bag them according to what part of the car they come from. This allows us to put the exact bolt back into the original hole that it came out of.
Custom Metalwork and Fabrication:
Custom metalwork and fabrication is needed when you can't buy parts for the vehicle you are trying to restore. Before the days of searching the internet for replicas of your part, or spending hours exploring junk yards hunting for parts cars there were blacksmiths. You would go to a blacksmith when you needed new metal shaped and fabricated. Here at Ozark Mountain Classics we can fabricate impossible to find parts such as floor pans, trunk pans, brackets, mounts, and patch panels.
Bodywork & Sheet Metal Straightening:
Back in the day lead was used to straighten sheet metal to prepare it to paint. Now days, lead is just way too hazardous to deal with and doesn't last like some of the new fillers on the market. We use a combination of fiberglass reinforced filler and high quality polyester body fillers for finishing out minor blemishes. These have excellent durability and adhesion properties that help produce the best surface for subsequent layers of primer and paint.
Mechanical Restoration:
Here at Ozark Mountain Classics we enjoy breathing life back into an old drive-train or putting it to rest and replacing with a new crate motor. Whatever you budget affords we can get the job done. We go over your vehicle with a fine tooth comb and make note of any wear, defects, or aged parts which may cause a problem in the future. We repair or replace as necessary to keep you cruising down the road.
Custom Paint Work:
Custom Paint Work is the meat and potatoes of what we do. If you are looking an Award Winning Show Car Finish then we can provide that for you. We pay Attention to Details and don't stop until we achieve Excellence. Around here we look for what we call the "Wet Candy" look. If it don't look "Lick-able" we aren't happy.

- Baking Soda - Baking Soda is a safe blasting media that will not damage sheet metal, glass, chrome, rubber, or fiberglass.
- Walnut Shell - Walnut shell media is very gentle similar to baking soda. Walnut shells are gentle enough not to warp sheet metal or damage fiberglass. We prefer to use walnut shell media when blasting engines and transmissions.
- Corn Cobb - Generally used for blasting wood, however corn cob also works well for blasting motors. Corn Cobb is not as volatile to the engine as glass or soda.
- Crushed Glass - Great alternative to sand. Glass is not as aggressive and generates less heat, thus minimizing metal warping.
